About me

Hi! I'm Andrea. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2010. I became an SLP because I accidentally enrolled in related coursework while in my undergraduate studies. I enjoyed the class and decided to pursue speech pathology as a career. I have worked in outpatient clinic, home health, acute hospital, outpatient hospital, SNF, and inpatient rehabilitation.I have taught an ASHA approved course on acquired pediatric brain injury. I have trained in and am proficient in FEES and MBSS. I have taken a lot of CEUs for pediatric feeding, most recently with Melanie Potock regarding ARFID. While in graduate school, I took the LVST course and attended additional instruction for working with laryngectomy patients. I would describe my clinical style as functional.
