About me

Hello! I'm Brittany. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2024 because of my profound passion for fostering communication and understanding in others. This passion was ignited during my time at Emerson College, where I pursued a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Through my studies, I realized the transformative power of speech-language pathology in helping individuals overcome communication challenges. My desire to make a difference led me to further explore the field, and I found fulfillment as an educator at Cassidy Preschool in Santa Monica. During this experience, I witnessed firsthand the impact of early intervention and communication support on young minds, solidifying my commitment to enhancing communication outcomes. Motivated by this commitment, I pursued a Masters in Speech Language Pathology at California State University Northridge, eager to deepen my knowledge and skills in the field. Through specialized training and hands-on experience, I honed my expertise in various areas, including language and voice disorders, early intervention, and memory care. Ultimately, my journey as a speech-language pathologist is driven by my genuine desire to empower others and provide them with the tools they need to communicate effectively. I am trained and certified in SPEAK OUT! & Loud Crowd Training - Parkinson's Voice Project. I have worked in settings such as in-home, outpatient clinic, and school. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, routines-based, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowered to create self-advocates.
