About me

Hi! I'm Caitlyn. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2024. I became an SLP because growing up I had difficulty with reading and literacy. I remember how difficult it was and how I felt. I still use my strategies today and I am thankful for support team I had. I wanted to provide the same access for others. I wanted to help people feel confident in their voice with all types of communication! That's why I joined a field of communication! I have taken courses in Pediatric Swallowing 101 Webinar with Hema Desai, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CLEC, NTMTC and Jen Raminick, CCC-SLP, BCS-S and The End Goal of AAC with Chris Klein with Region 14 Special Education Center. I worked in settings such as private clinic and home health. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and sensory integrated.

I was so impressed with not only Caitlyn's interaction with my son, but also at her use of different strategies to keep him engaged and meet his needs.

Caitlyn is the best and I'm going to miss her!

Caitlyn gives my kiddo her full focus and attention while she is with him. After this most recent session, we logged off and he said “I think that went well. I’m getting better”. It’s going great!

H.H./Oct 31, 2024

Efficient, quick, easy, and convenient.

It was a great experience! She did a great job of listening to what I wanted to get out of speech therapy as well as explaining next steps!

Ms Caitlyn is great. (My son) does not complain about having to do speech therapy. She interacts with him on a personal level, in addition to helping him improve his language, she makes him feel heard. Great experience for a boy with expressive and receptive challenges.

A.Z./Sep 4, 2024

She is so patient, kind, honest and extremely good at her job. She deserves a promotion.
