About me

Hi! I'm Crissy. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2006. I became an SLP because I wanted a career where I could make a real difference. Helping others communicate or someone being able to safely enjoy a meal with their family seemed like the perfect excuse to do what I love. I have worked in settings such as school and home health. I have not taught any courses but have certification in Vital Stim. I've taken courses related to articulation, language, play based therapy, feeding, specific speech and feeding with Down Syndrome children. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, strengths-based, and sensory integrated.
