About me

Hi! I'm Jennifer. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 1995. My purpose in becoming a speech-language pathologist was four-fold: to serve others, to help others express themselves, to advocate for those who cannot, and create measurable outcomes to improve the lives of others. I have trainings, certifications, and have taken courses in the following: LSVT, American Red Cross BLS. Vital-Stim, RYT-200, CGEI, PECs, Beckman Oral Motor, Bad Ragaz Aquatic Therapy Technique, NMES. I also have almost 25 years of earning the ASHA ACE award successively for continuing education on a variety of topics. I have worked in settings such as home, daycare, school, outpatient hospital, SNF, virtual, rehabilitation hospital, acute hospital, and special needs preschool. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, routines-based, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
