About me

Hi! I'm Jessica. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2022. A family member, who was diagnosed with Selective Mutism, inspired me to explore the career of speech-language pathology. I have a strong desire to help individuals improve their communication skills and overcome challenges. This field is always changing and pushing me to seek new knowledge to become a well rounded SLP. I have worked in the pediatric private practice setting. I have a certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders that I obtained in 2023. I am currently taking the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA)/Gestalt Language Processing course to become NLA trained. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and family-centric.
