About me

Hi! I'm Kimberly. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2008. AI became an SLP because I knew I wanted to help people. Over the years, what I've enjoyed most about being an SLP is partnering and supporting families and collaborating with other professionals. I have worked in inpatient/outpatient hospital-based settings, university clinic, schools. I have taught graduate level AAC course at UNT and taught an AAC course at TSHA. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, strengths-based, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
