About me

Hello! I'm Linda. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2004. I had two surgeries on my vocal folds requiring voice therapy pre and post-surgery. While in therapy, I had the opportunity to learn more about the field of speech-language pathology. I began researching the field and became obsessed with the idea of being able to help a variety of individuals with life-changing therapy. After taking some prerequisite classes, I realized that this was the career I had been searching for, and I have never looked back. I have received certifications and trainings in the following: Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) Certified, PROMPT trained, orofacial myofunctional therapy trained, ADHD certified clinical service provider, Harvard Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning Higher Education Teaching Certificate, Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Adjunct Professor of Diagnostics Practicum 1 at the graduate level, and Currently working towards my clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology (SLPD). I have worked in settings such as private school, private practice, inpatient and outpatient adult hospital speech pathology department and pediatric outpatient department. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and family-centric.

She brings resources good for him and tests his comprehension, check where problem lies

I like the therapist, shes excellent. She knows the issues my child is having and works towards the goal. I just wish the sessions were a tad bit longer so more is accomplished. I just hope my child uses the tools appropriately in real life situations.
