About me

Hello! I'm Payton. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2022 because I want to help others and advocate for patients and their families. I have taken the Feeding- CAN EAT course. I have worked in settings such as pediatric outpatient, outpatient across the lifespan, acute, and LTAC. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, individualized/personalized, routines-based, and sensory integrated.

We Love the Therapist, Payton Evans, and her ability to keep my son engaged in his session. She is very good at rewording to help him understand and she is very personable and made him feel like she knew him and liked him, which is huge to my son.

I was unsure about virtual speech therapy for my son, but it proved to be the best choice for him, between the flexibility of fitting his appointments in with his school and activity schedules, and the privacy it allowed for him. His therapist, Payton, was so good with him and he made progress much faster than we had anticipated.
