About me

Hi! I'm Stephanie. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2014. I became an SLP because I really enjoy helping others with all things involving communication. I feel as though communication is a huge part of our daily lives and so important! I love the challenge of trying various ideas and activities to help kids and adults target their desired speech and language goals. I have recently completed several CEU courses involving different ways to help individuals with Autism. One of the courses I took focused on how to incorporate movement during speech therapy sessions to help with attention and participation. I have been able to use some of the movement strategies that I learned in these courses in my sessions and have had great success with them! I have worked in private practice clinics, in the public schools, homehealth, and did PRNing at a SNF. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
